ABSTRACT
Hypokalemia during periodic paralysİs attack was observed in a 22 year old male patient who experienced a total of 3 intermittent paralysis attacks in his extremities. The patient was diagnosed as Graves' disease and his paralytic attacks resolved after the treatment of hyperthyroidism. it should be kept in mind that although it is rare, periodic paralysis could occur during transient episodic hypokalemic attack in hyperthyroid patients and hyperthyroidism should be excluded in the differential diagnosis of periodic paralysis.
