ABSTRACT
Diabetic ketoacidosis is one of the life-threatening metabolic complications of diabetes mellitus. Here, we report a case of sudden fulminant onset of diabetes mellitus with severe ketoacidosis during the second trimester of pregnancy complicated by fetal death.
